Svetlana Kann

I am an engineer by education. Having worked for many years in this position, I have a desire to change the sphere of activity and make some positive impact for people. Soon, I was asked to look after a two-year-old girl who needed a special care and attention. I agreed. We were doing a lot of things at home, I taught her basics of self-service: How to dress yourself, to eat independently, to keep the order and clearness. We attended extra classes: drawing, molding, music. So, after five years the results were great. The girl trained a lot of skills,became socially adapted, and went to school without problems.

From this moment I realized that I can make the differense and can make an positive impact.

I have been working in International Montessory School since 2015. During this time I have observed a lot of kids, and their results inspirs me to develop my knowleges. Attattending training courses, listening to webinars, and reading specialized literature.

In Montessori aproach I really like that different aged children study in the same class. They are free to choose the materials, they learning how to set goals and achieve them, which is very important skill in the modern world.
