It is not a problem. The child’s desire to keep the toy to himself indicates that he wants to feel safeness. It is a part of smooth adaptation.

If we see that the child is getting sick, we advise parents to stay at home. However we also teach children the rules of personal hygiene – hand washing, how to sneeze properly etc.
But parents should remember that at this age the child’s immune system is being built, so the more he gets sick, the stronger his system will be.
